Road Safety Awareness Campaign.
ISTAT data on traffic accidents is alarming: increasing compared to 2021, alongside a growing sense of apathy and indifference towards death, particularly among younger generations. Among these young people, there is a trend of sensationalizing and normalizing the phenomenon, as if it were inevitable. Driving under the influence of alcohol, distractions behind the wheel, or speeding cause daily accidents and fatalities—3,100 lives lost each year. These numbers, unfortunately, seem to no longer evoke emotion. But this is not normal.
This reality calls for the need to raise awareness, shake consciences, and sensitize the public to this dramatic issue. Our goal is to open eyes through a strong, impactful campaign characterized by powerful storytelling and direct language, without resorting to violent imagery. The message is especially targeted at younger audiences. For this reason, we chose Carmine Elia, the director of the popular series Mare Fuori, to direct the spot, and Giacomo Giorgio, one of the beloved stars of the same series, as the brand ambassador, to deliver an authentic and powerful message: a young person speaking to young people. The campaign will run from July 9, 2023, for three consecutive weeks, across all major media platforms, both online and offline. Produced by Officina 38.
