Ninetynine supports “Lo Spirito di Stella” in the “WoW – Wheels on Waves – Around The World 2023-2025” initiative, a global nonprofit project that combines a passion for sailing with a commitment to social inclusion.

The initiative offers individuals with disabilities, both civilians and military personnel from Italian and foreign armed forces, the opportunity to experience life aboard a fully accessible catamaran. Equipped with cutting-edge safety technologies, the vessel transforms the sea into a universal symbol of freedom and autonomy.

Each stop of the project demonstrates how creativity, solidarity, and technological innovation can break down barriers, raising public awareness and promoting more inclusive policies worldwide.

Beyond its social mission, WoW – Wheels on Waves 2023-2025 also serves as an important environmental research platform. The catamaran has undergone energy tests and participated in oceanographic studies in collaboration with the Environmental Ocean Team.

The project is sponsored by prestigious institutions, including Ministero della Difesa, la Marina Militare Italiana, il CONI, il CIP, Enit, il Ministero del Turismo, il Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), il National Oceanography Centre (NOC) e l’Enea. It is also part of the official program for the 150th anniversary of Italy’s Unification. A journey focused on sustainability.
